Planning a wedding, baby shower, or creative event? Our DIY Flower Buckets are perfect for brides, florists, and party planners who want to arrange their own beautiful blooms. This page answers our most frequently asked questions about ordering, pickup, and flower care—straight from our flower farm in Auburn, Washington.
What is included in a DIY Flower Bucket?
Each bucket contains a mix of 70–90 stems of farm-fresh flowers and foliage, including focal blooms, filler flowers, and greenery. Everything is harvested from our flower farm in Auburn, WA, and selected based on what's seasonally blooming.
Can I choose the colors or flowers?
You can request a general color palette (like soft pastels or bold brights) in the notes at checkout. While we can't guarantee specific flowers, we’ll do our best to honor your request based on what’s blooming that week.
How far in advance should I order?
Please place your order at least one week in advance. For wedding weekends or peak event seasons, we recommend booking 3–4 weeks ahead to secure your preferred pickup date.
How do I care for the flowers after pickup?
Bring a clean, air-conditioned vehicle and plan to place the buckets on a flat surface. Once home, keep them in a cool place out of direct sunlight and refresh the water every 1–2 days. Flowers should stay fresh for 3–5 days with proper care.
Where and when do I pick up my order?
All DIY Flower Buckets are available for pickup at our flower farm in Auburn, WA. We offer pickup windows Monday through Sunday. Your specific pickup time will be confirmed via email after checkout.
Can I use these for a DIY wedding bouquet or centerpieces?
Absolutely! Our DIY buckets are ideal for creating bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, centerpieces, and other event arrangements. For pricing on pre-made pieces, visit our Flower Arrangements Price List.
Can you sell out of DIY wedding buckets?
Yes, we normally allocate 10-15 Buckets per week. Once those are booked, we will not accept any more diy buckets for that week. We recommend booking ASAP and reaching out to us to see if we are sold out during a particular week.
Do you offer workshops or group DIY experiences?
Yes! We offer floral design workshops and group bucket experiences. Currently, we offer DIY workshops for designing your bridal bouquet and bridesmaids' bouquets for the bride and her wedding party. There are also snacks and refreshments part of your build-your-own-bouquet experience.
